HLIDE ("HLIDE," "we," "us") is production-management software: one place for a production's scripts, schedules, call sheets, budgets, deliverables and invoices. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use production content or contact details for advertising.
Program description. HLIDE sends transactional text messages on behalf of productions: call times, schedule changes, confirmation requests, paperwork and invoice notices, and secure links to a person's own production information (for example, their call sheet or talent page).
Opt-in. A person opts in themselves, in their own HLIDE account at Settings → Texts, by entering their mobile number and checking a consent box that states the program name, what is sent, message frequency, that message and data rates may apply, and the STOP and HELP instructions. A producer adding a phone number to a production does not enrol that person in texts. The one exception is a one-time passcode a person requests themselves to open a secure link. The exact opt-in screen and wording are shown at hlide.com/sms. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency varies with the production schedule (typically a few messages per shoot day). Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact hello@hlide.com. Reply START to opt back in.
No sharing. Mobile telephone numbers and SMS opt-in data are used only to deliver the messages described above. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except with our SMS delivery providers solely to enable message delivery.
We share information only with service providers that operate HLIDE on our behalf, such as hosting, database, email and SMS delivery, under agreements that limit their use of it to providing those services; within a production, with the people the producer has added to that production, according to the access level the producer sets; and when required by law.
Production data is retained while the account is active so wrapped shows remain available for reference and accounting. You can request deletion of your account and its data at any time by emailing hello@hlide.com; we delete or de-identify it within 30 days except where the law requires longer retention (for example, invoicing records).
Data is encrypted in transit, access is scoped by role and production, and sensitive personal details (such as talent information) are restricted to the people who need them. No system is perfectly secure; we work to protect your information and will notify you of any breach as the law requires.
HLIDE accounts are for adults. Where a production works with minors, their information is entered by a producer or guardian, is limited to what the production legally requires, and is restricted to authorized production staff.
